Josiah Davisson — Founder, Director, and President

As a longtime computer science educator and advocate for career-connected learning, Josiah Davisson founded BridgePoints to eliminate barriers that prevent students from accessing real-world industry experience. After witnessing how difficult it can be for schools and companies to collaborate due to red tape and systemic constraints, he launched BridgePoints to serve as a streamlined connector — bringing internships directly to students on their school campuses. His vision is to ensure that all students, regardless of background, zip code, or resources, have the opportunity to explore, train, and thrive in tech-driven careers.

Conner Torres — Secretary

Conner Torres brings a unique blend of educational and entrepreneurial experience to the BridgePoints board. A former CCSD teacher and current educator at The Adelson Educational Campus, Conner is passionate about empowering students through hands-on, future-ready learning. He is also the founder of Dotware Games, an independent game development studio, where he applies his technical expertise and creative vision. As Treasurer, Conner ensures BridgePoints remains financially sustainable while supporting its mission to bridge the gap between education and industry.

Roger Mayo — Treasurer

Roger Mayo is a highly respected computer science educator with decades of experience in the Clark County School District. Known across Nevada for his servant leadership and deep commitment to student success, Roger has played a pivotal role in expanding access to high-quality computer science education. His mentorship and advocacy have impacted countless students and educators alike. As a board member of BridgePoints, Roger brings invaluable insight and a steady hand to support the organization’s vision of equitable, real-world learning opportunities for all students.

James (Jimmy) Jacobson — Board Member

James Jacobson is a seasoned technology leader and entrepreneur, best known as the Co-founder and CTO of Wedgies and later as Co-founder and CTO of Codingscape, a leading software consultancy. With extensive experience in full-stack development, engineering leadership, and building high-performing remote teams, Jimmy brings a wealth of industry knowledge to BridgePoints. His passion for creating scalable tech solutions and his commitment to education make him a key contributor to our mission of connecting students with real-world learning opportunities in software and technology.
